Led by Tom Bannister
MD and Louise Bolton General Manager, the 80 strong team are a tremendous credit
to the whole operation. Whether you visit the hotel or part-take in any of the
popular estate activities, you will enjoy exceptional customer service.
Tom
and Louise have grown the business together for 14 years since the hotel Estate
Shop and Tea room expanded to include 40 bedrooms.
The Coniston Estate
The Hotel forms part of the Coniston Estate, which has been home to the Bannister family since the late 1960s. The estate comprises of the magnificent Coniston Hall,which is available for weddings and corporate functions, The Coniston Hotel, Coniston Shooting Ground, Falconry Centre and much more.
The Coniston Estate, has been home to the Bannister family since the late 1960s. Tom along with his mother, Mrs Bannister were responsible for developing one of the outlaying barns to a farm shop which sold produce from the estate including homemade preserves and fish. Today 20 years on the whole family including Mr Bannisiter is involved in all aspects of running the business.
The family values are at the heart of the everyday business practise. Tom is very hands on and can be seen leading the team on a day to day basis. Whatever your reason for visiting, you are assured a warm and friendly welcome.
