On the Coniston Hall Lake
We have our own beautiful 24-acre lake which is well stocked with fighting fit Rainbow Trout and also holds a good head of wild Brown Trout.
The fly fishing on the lake is excellent and it is an ideal location for beginners and more experienced anglers alike.

Fly fishing is usually done from one of the estate boats but at certain times of the year fly fishing from the bank can be very good.
The Coniston Hall lake is open for fly fishing from April to October inclusive.
Fishing on the River Aire
Our one mile length of the River Aire provides the river fly fisher with the opportunity for some challenging fly fishing for its wild Brown Trout, some of which are in excess of 2lbs.
The River Aire has excellent hatches of fly and offers good sport to dry fly and nymph tactics.
The River Aire is open for fly fishing from April to September inclusive.
Boats are available for the lake and tuition is available for those wishing to improve their fishing.
