The Coniston Shooting Ground is one of the best in the country and has recently been awarded Premier Ground status from The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association.
Qualified Instructors
Fully trained instructors help you make the most of your time at the ground and show the skills needed to be a successful clay pigeon shooter.
Try your hand at shooting many different types of clays as they mimic different animals such as rabbits, pheasants and partridge.
An 86ft tower has recently been added, which replicates higher birds meaning visitors can practice high birds all year round and in particular for the pheasant and partridge season.
The ground regularly welcomes international level shooters which is a testiment to its standing among the experienced shooting fraternity.
Come alone, bring a team or organise as part of a corporate day, the shooting ground is a fun filled experience for everyone.
Included in the cost is gun hire, tuition and 30 clays.

Special introductory courses with all aspects of the sport covered. No shotgun certificate is needed to enable you to shoot clays.
Game Shooters
For when you want to be on form when it matters. Our range of traps is designed to challenge the most skilled of shooters.
Club Shooters
We offer financial incentives for regular attendees and hold numerous 'members only' competitions with both cash and trophy prizes.
Experienced Clay Shooters
We can provide coaching and instruction for those looking to improve on certain areas of their shooting performance.
Corporate Groups
We welcome corporate groups and offer an exhilerating shooting experience for groups of all sizes.

Groups are always welcome.
The facilities include Down the Line, English Skeet and English Sporting. We can also provide I.S.U. Skeet and F.I.T.A.S.C. Sporting.
Our range of sporting layouts are designed to test the established shot whilst encouraging the beginner. We cater for all levels of experience.
