Winter Wellness Tips from The Coniston Spa
As the weather gets colder, frosty mornings become more frequent and the heating gets turned up, the winter months can begin to hinder our overall wellness. The temptation to stay indoors, keep warm and cosy and possibly overindulge is overwhelming. But this can leave you feeling lethargic, affect your skin tone and, in some cases, more susceptible to those nasty winter bugs.
With this in mind, we’ve put together some of our top tips to help you maintain your winter wellness:
Amend your skincare routine
Having the heating on all the time is great for feeling cosy and keeping warm but it can play havoc on your skin. We would recommend amending your skincare to battle dry, dehydrated skin. Don’t let a busy diary be your excuse
We know that exercise can be the last thing on your mind when coming into the festive period; the diary gets busier and any free time we do have feels best spent getting cosy on the sofa with a Christmas film on. But exercise is the best way to boost your physical and mental wellbeing and by getting some gentle exercise every day you’ll boost your energy levels and your mood.
