Ingleborough Cave

Ingleborough Cave is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and was first discovered in 1837 by brave Victorian explorers who drained away a lake and ventured 1/2km under Ingleborough mountain.

Today, the cave is well lit with floodlights, and you can follow in the footsteps of those intrepid pioneers on an awe-inspiring voyage of discovery for all the family! A concrete footpath leads visitors past breath-taking stalagmites, stalactites and flowstones.
