Spa Terms & Conditions
Spa access and timings
Your access times will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Should your package include a treatment, your treatment time will be confirmed at the time of booking. Guests must be 18 years or older to receive spa treatments.
Please note, treatment only bookings do not include spa thermal access.
There will be a separate charge of £25 per person (£20pp if added at the time of making your reservation) for a 1 hour and 45 minute session. Due to new capacity restrictions, time slots are limited so please book your access in advance with our Reservations team to avoid disappointment. Times slots are available between 10:00am - 8:00pm.
Regretfully, children are no longer allowed to use The Coniston Spa facility.
All spa guests will be given an arrival time which will be confirmed upon booking. We politely ask that you arrive at your scheduled time to ensure we can offer you the best welcome possible. If you are booked for a treatment only, please allow sufficient time to complete a health consultation form. Please note that should you arrive late this may result in your treatment time being reduced and in some instances could result in your treatment being cancelled with a charge.
The Spa is open daily 07:00 – 22:00. Spa treatments are available daily between 11:00 - 17:00.
Our spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquillity. Please respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity. In light of this, the spa is a mobile phone and smoke-free zone.
Swimwear must be worn within The Coniston Spa at all times in the thermal area. Correct footwear and clothing will be required in the gym facilities. Please respect the Spa facilities and do not leave muddy footwear at the entrance of the Spa. We do offer a small selection of swimwear to purchase at the Spa.
We accept no responsibility for loss of valuables and jewellery at any time on the premises. We advise you to leave any precious or sentimental items at home as small items are easily displaced when in a state of relaxation.
Please inform us at the time of booking of any health issues, medical conditions or allergies so that we can advise on treatments and recommend suitable therapies for you. Kindly also inform us if you are pregnant as this may affect your treatment choices. Our therapists will be able to advise you of the perfect treatments for your safety and comfort.
Payment in full will be required upon booking.
Please ensure you provide at least 72 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointments, or 100% cancellation charges will apply. All major credit cards are accepted. If you are a resident of the hotel, your spa experiences can be charged to your room.
Annual memberships are paid in full from the date of joining. The membership, unless otherwise agreed will start on the day of joining and last one calendar year. A pro-rata fee will be charged on joining for the current month for monthly memberships and thereafter fees are paid each month by direct debit for the month agreed and are collected on or around the 1st of each month. Joint/couple membership payments can only be taken from one bank account, joint/couple members must live at the same address and memberships are non-transferable.
Our minimum membership term agreement is 12 months. Should you wish to cancel your membership after a 12-month period we require this in writing to The Coniston Hotel Spa Membership Department, Coniston Cold, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 4EA or via email to email@example.com at least one month prior to your membership expiry date.
